1. Have a look through our available projects so that you have an idea of what might like to get involved with. Please do bear in mind that availability of the internal projects fluctuates throughout the year.

2. Sign up using our webform and choose whether to be on our mailing list, where we advertise our opportunities.

3. Email mail@cambridgesca.org.uk to arrange a meeting with someone from the SCA Team. During this meeting, we can discuss volunteering placements and conduct a DBS check* if necessary. We will always give you time to go away and think about the options if you are unsure. If you are ready to sign up to a project we will talk you through the steps!

4. Start volunteering! Once you’re all set up, SCA staff will always be happy to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Most of our projects also have a student project leader who will be able to guide you through the process.

*Please be aware that it may take a few weeks for your DBS check to be processed and for you to be matched with a family or project. Thank you for your patience!
